Opportunities for School Swimming Lessons

We are registering interest for the next academic school year at Making Waves!

After two successful terms this year welcoming Fernhill and St Aloysius’ College, we are on the look out for our next group of schools to come and join us at our private facility.

We can cater for two different groups of students; Early Years to P3, as well as P4 and above.

On site parking available suitable for buses.

Our instructors are in the water, and we cater to all abilities – from nervous children to swimmers at a squad level.

Two large changing rooms available.

There is a cafe next to the pool for teachers to stay and watch the swimmers during their time in the pool.

The staff are really welcoming, friendly and professional giving clear instructions and praising the children's throughout their lesson. The pupils have all said how much they look forward to their weekly lesson, which is so good to hear as we have a number of pupils who were a little bit nervous prior to the block beginning. An amazing experience, set up and environment for the children to learn and develop in confidence.

Since August 2023 we have partnered with Making Waves in order to deliver our in school swim program and swim galas. The team at Making Waves have delivered outstanding provision with very small coaching groups which have allowed the pupils in our school to build confidence and swim proficiency quickly. The facility is state of the art and the pupils really look forward to their sessions, we couldn’t be happier!
